Your lost Korea eSIM QR code is still on your order page, unless you deleted the eSIM

The QR code for a Korea eSIM bought from Kedanto is not a picture attached to your email. The email carries one button, and that button opens your order page, which is where the QR code and install codes actually sit. So deleting the email, or never receiving it, does not lose the QR code. There is only one case you can't undo: deleting an eSIM that was already installed on your phone. The order page will still show the QR code, but it will not install a second time.
Below is where to look in each situation, and what to send if you deleted the eSIM. Everything was checked on September 19, 2026 against Kedanto's order screens and emails, the refund policy, and Apple and Samsung support pages.
| Situation | Where to open it again | Can the same QR install? |
|---|---|---|
| You deleted the eSIM email | The email in your trash, or My orders after signing in | Yes, if you never tried to install it |
| The email never arrived | Your spam folder, then support@kedanto.com | Yes, if you never tried to install it |
| You closed the page right after paying | The button in the email, or My orders | Yes, if you never tried to install it |
| You deleted the installed eSIM from your phone | The order page opens, but the QR won't install again | No |
Where does a Kedanto eSIM QR code actually live?
It lives on your Kedanto order page, and the email is just the key to that page. When you pay, one email goes to the address you typed at checkout. It shows the plan name, your order number and a button labeled View QR code & setup guide. There is no QR image in the email itself. The button opens the order page, and its Install section holds:
- a One-tap install for iPhone button (iOS 17.4 or later)
- the QR code image
- the SM-DP+ address, activation code and full code, each with a copy button, for typing in by hand when you can't scan
So "I lost my QR code" usually means "I lost my way back to the order page". There are three ways back: the email, signing in, and support.
What if you deleted the email or can't find it?
Search your inbox by subject and check the trash. The button in the eSIM email has no expiry date. If you ordered on the English site, the subject starts with "[Kedanto] Your eSIM is ready —" followed by the plan name. The email is written in the language of the site you ordered on, so an order placed on the Korean site arrives as "[케단토] eSIM 발급 완료".
The confirmation page your browser showed right after payment uses a different address. That one is created with the order and only opens for 30 days; after that, a bookmark to it shows "We can't find this order". The order hasn't gone anywhere. Open it again from the button in the email. If the email is gone from the trash as well, move on to signing in or to support.
What if the email never arrived?
Check your spam folder first. If it isn't there, write to support@kedanto.com with the email address you used at checkout. Kedanto's support page says a typo in the address is the usual cause, and the checkout form warns under the email field: "A typo means the QR never reaches you."
There is no button for customers to resend the email themselves. Instead, support can look up the order and send the email again, and if the address was mistyped, they can correct it and send it to the right one. Include both the address you actually use and the address you think you typed, which makes the typo easy to spot. Your order number appears at the top of the page right after payment; if you took a screenshot of it, attach it.
Sometimes the email is late because the eSIM itself is still being issued. If the page after payment says Issuing your eSIM, it usually finishes within a minute and a refresh brings up the QR code. If it says Payment went through, but issuing is delayed, no QR code exists yet, and the Cancel order and get a full refund button on that page lets you cancel straight away.
Can you see the QR code again by signing in?
Sign in with a Google account that uses the same email address as your order, and the QR code is under My orders. Orders placed without signing in show up there too: Kedanto automatically links paid orders made with that email address to the account. As of September 19, 2026, the only sign-in option on Kedanto's login page is Continue with Google.
In the My orders list, an issued order carries the note Tap to see the QR, and tapping it opens the same order page as the email button. If you ordered with an address that isn't a Google account, the order won't appear this way, so contact support instead.
If you deleted the installed eSIM, can the same QR code bring it back?
No. A Kedanto QR code installs only once, and both Apple and Samsung say a deleted eSIM has to be issued again.
Apple's page on erasing an eSIM puts it plainly: "If you erase an eSIM, you'll need to contact your carrier to get a new one" (checked September 19, 2026). The same page says not to erase an eSIM as a troubleshooting step unless your carrier tells you to. On iPhone, the button is Delete eSIM under Settings > Cellular, or, if you have more than one plan, tap the plan and then Delete Plan.
Samsung says the same thing. Samsung Electronics Service's Korean-language eSIM guide (posted November 14, 2022) explains that deleting an eSIM in the phone's settings removes only the eSIM profile stored on the device, and that a deleted eSIM is reissued through the carrier.
For a travel eSIM, the carrier in those sentences is whoever sold you the eSIM. That's why Kedanto's support page and install guide both say a QR code installs only once. The order page keeps opening and the QR image stays visible, but a QR code that has already been used for an install attempt won't install again. If you were about to delete the eSIM because the internet isn't working, read where to look when your Korea eSIM won't connect first. It's usually a couple of settings.
You deleted the eSIM: what do you send to support?
Email support@kedanto.com with your order number, the email address on the order, your phone model, and whether you deleted the eSIM before or after turning on data in Korea. That tells support whether the line ever connected. It doesn't change the refund, though: under the refund policy an eSIM that was installed is not refunded, even if it never activated. According to Kedanto's order page, the eSIM activates when you turn on data roaming in Korea.
- The order number is in brackets next to the plan name at the top of the email, and at the top of the order page.
- A screenshot of Settings > Cellular on iPhone, or Settings > Connections > SIM manager on Galaxy, shows at a glance whether the line is really gone.
- Kedanto's refund policy offers two routes: a refund before installation, and buying again. There is no clause about issuing a new QR code for a deleted eSIM.
Is a deleted eSIM refunded, or do you buy again?
Only an eSIM that was never installed can be refunded, so a deleted eSIM means buying a new one. If your flight is close, do that first. Kedanto's refund policy splits the cases after the QR code is issued like this (checked September 30, 2026):
| Status | Refund |
|---|---|
| QR issued, not installed and not used | Full refund once the supplier's system confirms it |
| Installed but not yet activated | No refund |
| After activation | No refund |
The refundable case is requested by email with your order number, and it goes through a check with the supplier. An eSIM you deleted from your phone had been installed, so it falls in one of the other two rows, and the rest of your trip needs a new eSIM. A new eSIM normally reaches your inbox within minutes of paying, so if you fly tomorrow, place the new order right away. If an install attempt failed partway and you're not sure the eSIM ever went on, give support the order number exactly; the supplier's records decide whether it counts as installed. If it is refunded, that order's QR code is voided and can't be resent.
What happens to the eSIM if you have to reset your phone mid-trip?
On iPhone you can choose to keep the eSIM when you reset, so keep the travel line. Apple says: "If you erase content and settings from your iPhone or iPad, you can choose to erase your eSIM or keep it." Choose erase, and the Kedanto QR code can't put that line back.
We couldn't find a Samsung support page that says how a Galaxy reset treats the eSIM, so we haven't described it. If you need to reset a Galaxy during your trip, ask support@kedanto.com before you tap anything.
What should you do on the day the eSIM email arrives?
When the "[Kedanto] Your eSIM is ready" email lands, two small things are enough. Star it or mark it important so you never have to search for it, and sign in to Kedanto once with the Google account for that address to check that the order appears under My orders. Then, when you're in Korea and want to see how much data is left, you open My orders instead of digging through your inbox. The order page has a Data left section below the QR code, so it stays useful long after the install is done.
Sort your data out before you fly
You keep your SIM and add one data line. Your home number stays on your usual SIM; whether its calls and texts reach you abroad depends on your home carrier's roaming.
